What's the story?

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs striker Samir Nurkovic exhibited his daredevil tendencies recently after sharing footage of him swimming in close proximity to sharks.

The Serbian baller was shark cage diving on the freezing Atlantic Ocean, an extreme activity that helped him switch off from football a bit.

Samir Nurkovic swims with sharks 

Nurkovic is a huge fan of South Africa's nature wonders, from the diverse oceans to the appreciating what the various safari's have to offer. 

The 31-year-old TS Galaxy striker is making the most of his mid-season break by trying out a daring activity in the Atlantic Ocean.

It's been estimated that the Atlantic Ocean boasts around 43 species of shark, ranging from the feared bull shark to the menacing great white shark.

From an underwater cage, Nurkovic got up close and personal with one of the apex predators, sharing a video of him within touching distance of the frightening creature.

As mentioned above, Nurkovic isn't afraid to get close to wild animals. Back in 2022, he was seen cuddling a tiger, which he joking dubbed his pet!
