Group E

Celtic 2-2 Atletico Madrid

Group E remained wide open after Celtic and Atletico Madrid played to a draw in a four-goal thriller at Celtic Park.

Kyogo Furuhashi gave Celtic an early lead inside the first four minutes and Antoine Griezmann levelled matters for Atletico on 25 minutes from the penalty spot, although he scored from a rebound after his initial spot-kick was parried by goalkeeper Joe Hart.

Luis Palma restored the lead for the Scottish giants three minutes later and Alvaro Morata levelled matters again for Diego Simeone's charges eight minutes into the second stanza.

The Spanish side were reduced to ten men eight minutes before time after Rodrigo de Paul received his second yellow card for a late tackle and was dismissed.

Group F

Paris Saint Germain 3-0 AC Milan

Paris Saint-Germain climbed up to the top of Group F after drubbing AC Milan 3-0 at Parc des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe broke the deadlock for PSG  shortly after the half-hour mark with a strike from the edge of the box.

Ousmane Dembele found the back of the net for the Parisians just after the break but the goal was ruled out by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for a foul in the build-up.

However, Randal Kolo Muani eventually doubled the lead for Luis Enrique's charges five minutes later from a rebound in the box.

Kang-In Lee secured the three points for PSG with the third goal in the last minute.

Newcastle United 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund cut open Group F after edging Newcastle United 1-0 at St. James' Park.

Felix Nmecha got the breakthrough for Dortmund on the stroke of half-time and that was enough to hand them maximum points, as they moved up to second in the section, two points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain and equal on points with third-placed Newcastle.

Group G

Young Boys 1-3 Manchester City

Manchester City clocked a maximum of nine points in Group G after thrashing Young Boys 3-1, with Erling Haaland netting twice at Stadion Wankdorf.

After a goalless first stanza, Manuel Akanji finally broke the deadlock for Pep Guardiola's troops three minutes from the break with a tap-in from a rebound after goalkeeper Anthony Racioppi tipped Ruben Dias's header into the bottom side of the crossbar.

Meschack Elia levelled matters for Young Boys four minutes later with a delightful lob over shot-stopper Ederson after going through on goal.

However, Haaland restored the lead for the Citizens on 67 minutes with a strike from the penalty spot after Rodri was brought down in the box.

Julian Alvarez thought he had made it 3-1 for City 14 minutes before time just after coming on after he slotted a right-footed shot but his goal was disallowed for a handball by the Video Assistant Referee  (VAR) in the build-up by Jack Grealish.

Haaland eventually put the game to bed for the visitors and got his brace in the last four minutes with a right-footed shot into the top corner.

RB Leipzig 3-1 Red Star Belgrade

RB Leipzig solidified their second spot in Group G, going five points clear, after a resounding 3-1 win over Red Star Belgrade at Red Bull Arena.

David Raum opened the scoring for Leipzig within the first 12 minutes and Xavi Simons doubled the lead for the German side on the hour-mark.

Marko Stamenic pulled a goal back for Red Star 20 minutes before time but Dani Olmo sealed the win for Leipzig in the last six minutes.

Group H

Antwerp 1-4 Porto

Porto climbed up to second spot in Group H, three points behind leaders Barcelona after hammering Antwerp 4-1 at Bosuilstadion.

Alhassan Yusuf broke the deadlock for Antwerp eight minutes before the break and Evanilson equalised for Porto just after the interval.

Stephen Eustaquio sent the visitors ahead nine minutes into the second stanza and Evanilson made it 3-1 for the Portuguese giants and completed his brace with 21 minutes remaining.

Porto ran riot six minutes before time as Evanilson made it 4-1 and completed his hat-trick.
