Earlier this week, the Brazilian Football Confederation announced that its national team would not be taking the winger on international duty due to the current allegations he is facing.

With United having so far been quiet on the matter, the club has now issued a statement to acknowledge the allegations.

"Manchester United acknowledges the allegations made against Antony and notes that the Police are conducting enquiries," it read.
