With the deal for the Brazilian's departure seemingly near its conclusion, Les Parisiens are looking to continue their rebuild by filling in his soon-to-be vacant position.
The French champions are thus in the market for a winger, and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus' Federico Chiesa has piqued their interest.
The 25-year-old currently has two years remaining on his contract in Turin, and with the Bianconeri without European football this season, the possibility of moving to the Parc des Princes where he could play in his preferred position – he is said to be frustrated at not playing on his favoured left wing under Massimiliano Allegri – get UEFA Champions League football and be given a salary increase may be tempting to him.
The record Serie A winners are also said to be open to letting the Italy international leave too, but are believed to only be willing to negotiate for the explosive forward if an offer of between €50 and €60 million (R1 and R1.2 billion) arises.
