Cristiano Ronaldo has made a big decision on whether or not he will return to play football in Europe following his move to Saudi Arabia.

Since his high-profile free-agent move to the Saudi Pro League in January, more household names have followed the Al Nassr No. 7 to the Middle East ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Kalidou Koulibaly, Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Marcelo Brozovic and Ruben Neves are among those who have joined sides in the Gulf state in recent weeks, with more big names across the world being targeted by teams in the country.
Speaking after his team's 5-0 pre-season friendly loss to Celta Vigo on Monday night, Ronaldo declared he had no interest in returning to Europe, insisting that the continent's football is currently in decline.
"I'm 100% sure I won't return to any European club. I'm 38 years old," he said, according to ESPN.
"European football has lost a lot of quality. The only valid one and still doing good is the [English] Premier League. They're way ahead of all the other leagues."
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner then argued that the Saudi Pro League is superior to that of the MLS, the division his long-standing rival Lionel Messi will be competing in for the next few seasons.
"The Saudi league is better than MLS," he said.

"Now all the players are coming here. In one year, more top players will come to Saudi Arabia."
