BBC Sport recently reported that Saudi league champions Al Ittihad are preparing to offer the winger a four-year contract worth £25.6 million (R600 million) a season.

This comes amid the country's push to grow into one of the world's leading footballing nations ahead of their bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

Al Ittihad have already secured Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante's signatures for the coming season, but it appears Son still believes he has unfinished business in England.

"I have many things to do in the Premier League," he said, according to Goal.

"Money doesn't matter to me now, and the pride of playing football, to play in my favourite league is important."

More high-profile players are expected to join Saudi Arabian clubs over the coming months, with Hakim Ziyech, Edouard Mendy and Ruben Neves, among many others, being targeted.
