Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri has explained his touchline clash with star midfielder Paul Pogba, whom the club will reportedly soon hold crunch talks with.

The 30-year-old made just his fifth 2022/23 Serie A appearance on Sunday, when the Bianconeri claimed a 2-0 away victory over Atalanta.
Pogba was introduced in the 65th minute as Juve held a one-goal lead, but made several on-the-ball errors that infuriated Allegri on the sidelines.
The Italian tactician, in a post-match interview, said that part of his frustration was the former Manchester United man telling him to remain calm despite his mistakes.
"Pogba doesn't have to lose those balls," Allegri said, according to Calciomercato.
"Vlahovic did very well when he entered. Paul said, 'Mister, calm' but there is little to stay calm: those balls must be kept."
Reports suggest that the club will hold important discussions with the France international once the campaign has concluded.

Pogba returned to Juve as a free agent at the start of the season, but injuries and questionable off-field decisions have led to rumours the board are not happy with how things have played out.
