Sources have revealed that management and the technical team are understood to have faith in the club captain and that talks look set to be concluded in the coming weeks.

"Yes, he is one of their longest-serving players. He has been there from the start when they bought Mpumalanga Black Aces and his current contract is running out next year June. It's because of that the team has found it necessary to keep him for a further three years from next year until June 2024. You should also know that it's an improved contract. Better than the current one," a source informed the Siya crew.

"Yes we had an agreement with him that if he plays a certain number of games we will extend his contract and we did that. Actually, we want to keep him here for as long as we can. So, I cannot say it's up to when. We will keep him here. That's what is important," Comitis observed.
