After his long absence from professional football since parting ways with Marumo Gallants, Mpho Maleka has made plans to equip himself with coaching qualifications, the Siya crew has been informed.
Maleka's last coaching role in the PSL was with Marumo and he parted ways with the club in August last year, as revealed by the Siya crew.

While assessing his options for a possible comeback with a team in the PSL, Maleka has also taken some time to further his qualifications.
"Coach Mpho Maleka is going to Zambia for a coaching course. He is going there to attend a CAF License coaching course," the coach's representatives from Vodia Players Management confirmed to the Siya crew.

During his professional as a footballer, Maleka played for AmaZulu, Free State Stars, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Moroka Swallows and Baroka FC in his career.
He retired in 2014 with his sights set on coaching.
