Former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana shot stopper Brighton Mhlongo is building a post-retirement future in daily television.
The 32-year-old is set to join e.TV's revamped 'The Morning Show' as a sports presenter from 1 May.

Mhlongo joins The Morning Show
After a freak eye injury forced Mhlongo into early retirement back in 2021, the lanky ex-Buccaneer is committing his future to sports broadcasting.
Mhlongo will join e.TV's 'The Morning Show', where he will present the sports on the programme. The lifestyle and news show will be broadcasted simultaneously on eTV and eNCA seven days a week!
The revamped show promises to be bigger and better than before with Mhlongo joining seasoned radio personality Faith Mangope and current hosts Nelisiwe Mmape, Kgosi Rankhumise and Bolele Polisa.
The Manyisa Mhlongo Foundation, a charity started by Mhlongo and his ex-Bucs teammate Oupa Manyisa, took to IG to share the news of Mhlongo joining The Morning Show crew:

Since his early retirement in 2021, Mhlongo has kept himself busy as a sports analyst. Appearing on SuperSport, Vision View Sports Radio and podcasts.
He's partnered with brands like Engen, Heineken, King Vleis and Lucky Lekgwathi's Grootman Restaurant as well as the aforementioned foundation he started recently with Manyisa.
