Despite interest in the attacker, indications are that the Premiership champions are yet to make a decision on the future of Ighodaro, with a return to Chloorkop believed to be imminent.
"I can tell you that at the moment there are three teams that we know have shown interest in Igho. There is Zamalek from Egypt. K.V.C Westerlo from Belgium and Reins from France. It will all depend on the player and his agent what they need," a source revealed to the Siya crew.
"One team that I know, whose officials and scouts have come and watched him is Egyptian team, Zamalek. Also (Stade de) Reims from France have kept very close tabs on him. And now there is a team from Belgium. The chances of him playing in South Africa next season are very slim. I know one of the foreign teams will sign. The chances are high," the source added.
Chippa United team manager Wanda Mbenguzana said that they are aware of local and international interest in Ighodaro and right now, the club's focus is to avoid relegation.
"We have an important task at hand and that is to make sure we avoid relegation and we cannot divide players' attention at this time. So even if there is interest in the player, we can't talk about that now. Let's wait for the right time," Mbenguzana concluded.
