Thabo Nodada's agent, Jazzman Mahlakgane, has confirmed talks with potential suitors for the star midfielder amid speculation of a possible move to Gauteng at the end of the season.

For a few seasons now, the pint-sized midfielder has been linked with a move, following his excellent performances for Cape Town City, with indications that Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs have all, at one time or the other, been interested in his services.

As recently reported by the Siya crew, the Citizens have appeared to be open to selling the 27-year-old at the end of the current campaign, as confirmed by well-placed sources.

Indications are that the Buccaneers are leading the race for the player this time around, with their rivals Amakhosi also believed to be showing serious interest after recently agreeing a deal in principle with the Mother City outfit for Nodada's midfield partner, Mduduzi Mdantsane.

In December last year, Pirates agreed a deal with City, which saw Craig Martin switching to the Soweto giants in January on a two-and-a-half-season deal.

According to sources, the Houghton-based side have reignited their interest in Nodada with a view of possibly adding him to Jose Riveiro's squad for next season.

Meanwhile, the player's camp has confirmed talks with an unnamed outfit for the Ixopo-born player.

"We have had discussions with the (Cape Town City) chairman (John Comitis) about Nodada and there is a possibility of him moving. We are assessing the options and John is ready to allow the player to move on," said Mahlakgane, speaking to Soccer Laduma.
