What's the story?

When Kermit Erasmus is rocking his coldest 'fits, you're bound to see the ex-Sundowns baller rocking a certain British luxury brand.

Other fashion forward ballers are known to wear household names like Louis Vuitton, Gucci or even Dior, but Erasmus opts for a fresh contemporary streetwear brand that specialises in cosy garments.

Let's take a closer look...

Kermit Erasmus wears Represent

Represent Clothing is one of Britain's hottest luxury streetwear brands, and are in a similar lane to brands like John Elliot, Kith, Aime Leon Dore, and Fear of God.

They use basic streetwear items like graphic t-shirts, hoodies, sweats, and tracksuits etc. They're lauded for their comfort and dynamic designs that rival the aforementioned brands.

As mentioned on their website, the brand aims to go beyond "hype" culture, which is being in the forefront of cultural trends. Founded by two brothers in 2011, George and Mike Heaton aim to create a community around Represent Clothing.

"The Represent customer pool is very diverse, we have three tiers blended. The general customer is a progressively minded individual that utilises Represents three pillars, being mainline, blank, and 247, with the ability to wear Represent for every occasion.

"We also have a demographic that likes to wear a Represent outfit paired with a high-end luxury sneaker or outerwear piece. And there's a younger aspiring customer that has a Represent piece as their top tier wardrobe item," says Represent co-owner/founder George Heaton.

Erasmus fits into what Heaton describes as a diverse customer pool. The steezy Buccaneer can wear this brand for every occasion.

He can pair Represent with more high-end luxury items, and other outerwear pieces. He pairs his items from the British brand with names like Goyard, adidas Yeezy, and Nike's Air Jordan's.

Whether he's chilling with his musician friends like Marcus Harvey or Zooci Coke Dope, hanging with Lucky Lekgwathi at Grootman's or going to training at Mayville, Erasmus takes as many opportunities he can to style in Represent.

You'll normally see Erasmus wearing Represent's lush sweats, or their eye-catching graphic tees, perfectly embodying the brand's diverse community of fashion lovers and exploring a different brand compared to other stylish local players.
