In a turn of events, Orlando Pirates have made a decision on one of the team's stars as the 2022/23 season is getting closer to the final stages.
For several weeks now, Pirates midfielder Collins Makgaka appeared to be facing uncertain future with the club due to his lack of game-time.

Moreover, the 26-year-old has had the three-year contract he signed when he joined from Baroka FC in 2020 nearing an end though Bucs had a two-year option in place to extend the deal.
In edition 1315 of Soccer Laduma, it has been reported that Stellenbosch FC have showed interest in the creative midfielder.
Speaking exclusively to the Siya crew, Makgaka's representative Kieran Brown of Sprint Management Group Ltd has confirmed that the option on the attacking midfielder has been exercised by the Buccaneers.
"As it stands, he'll be staying with Pirates next season. Yeah, they took the option earlier this year," confirmed Brown.
"I know, it's been a frustrating few years for Collins and he hasn't got enough chance but Pirates want him to stay so there is a plan for him next season. He is an unbelievable player," the intermediary added.

Unless the plan will be to loan him, Stellies or any club that the player has been linked with may struggle to acquire his services due to him being in the plans of the Bucanneers.
Makgaka will hope to get a few more minutes under his belt in the remaining matches to add to his four appearances under Jose Riveiro in the current campaign.
