The Best Dressed Foreign-Based Bafana Players

The Best Dressed Foreign-Based Bafana Players

Following the announcement of Bafana Bafana's provisional squad for the AFCON qualifiers, we look at three of the best dressed-foreign players.

Check it out!

What's the story?

Bafana Bafana revealed its 35-man preliminary squad to face Libera this month.

With 10 foreign-based players in the squad, we take a look at three of the best-dressed ballers; Burnley's Lyle Foster, Pyramids FC's Fagrie Lakay and Aris Limassol's Mihlali Mayambela.

Let's take a closer look at the drip...

Mihlali Mayambela

The Cyprus-based Mihlali "Maya" Mayambela brings a fresh perspective to streetwear style.

He mixes high-end offerings like Fear of God Essentials, Balenciaga, Yeezy, and Dior also appreciating smaller brands such as Anti-Social Social Club and Cypriot brand Who Made This.

Maya's European-inspired steez could inspire his Bafana teammates to level things up with their style and try new things, which is something that wavy winger doesn't shy away from.

Lyle Foster

With quite a few years in Europe under his belt now, Burnley's Lyle Foster certainly has that 'European football fashionista' feel to his drip.

Wearing brands such as Supreme, Dior, Fear of God Essentials, Rhude and a local footballer's favourite, Gucci, in his trendy closet.

Although Foster keeps it simple with the aesthetics, the brands and the how he pulls off his 'fits reminds us that he's well suited to streetwear trends in Europe.

Fagrie Lakay

Pyramids FC's Fagrie Lakay is one of two Egyptian-based stars in the squad and he makes sure to stay up-to-date with the hottest streetwear trends and brands.

Styling in drip from Off-White, Louis Vuitton and Represent Clothing, Lakay consistently keeps it jiggy and is able to switch between mundane and more vibrant colours.

Lakay's style is something that would grab any streetwear fashion lover's attention on a IG explore page and could inspire some of other fashion-forward ballers in the squad.
