Zitha Kwinika recently showed his style by rocking a couple of pieces from the Diesel brand.
The brand hit a bit of a slump in terms of relevance in the fashion world before COVID and has seen a global resurgence since 2021.

Let's take a look at how Diesel became cool to wear again...
Zitha Kwinika's 'fit
Kwinika took to Instagram to share a cool streetwear outfit that compromised mainly of Diesel items.
Along with a red Kangol bucket hat, a faded black bomber jacket and black sweatpants.
The outfit was headlined by Diesel. He wore a graphic t-shirt with a trippy 'flock print', that's priced at R1 699.
The grey top features a red 'D' from the Diesel logo, giving it a different element. For the kicks, he wears the Leather Low-top sneakers with the 'D' logo.
The brand's website once valued the kicks at R4 199, and they've now been reduced to R2 939. The sneakers are a festival of colour, showing pink frontal, black and yellow midsole, and heel, with a blue top along the laces.
Why is Diesel cool again?
Although Diesel has always received love here in South Africa, especially for its jeans, the Italian brand lacked International fashion relevance after its surge in the early 2000s.
According to InStyle, TikTok trends, second hand markets along with Gigi and Bella Hadid's influence, the "sleeping giant" arose from its slumber and gained in popularity among the Gen Z.

Former Jean Paul Gaultier designer Glenn Martens became a creative director of Diesel in 2020, and he brought back the classic Y2K element that made the brand a pop culture fav back in the early 2000s.
Martens' experimental denim work and usage of the brand's logo has given them a new lease on life.
The brand is carries a celebrity allure once again and it's rubbing off on ballers like Zitha Kwinika. According to Rivet, Diesel's sales grew by over 200% from 2021 to 2022, and they were one of the few global brands to hit a peak during the COVID-19 pandemic.
