With it suggested that Juventus could cancel Paul Pogba's contract after he recently picked up another injury, a club chief confirmed the Bianconeri's stance on the French midfielder.
The 29-year-old suffered yet another fitness setback last week, meaning his wait to make his second debut for the Old Lady continues as he has still not kicked a ball this season.
Rumours claimed the Italian giants were considering a termination of the former Manchester United midfielder's deal in Turin amid reports they were becoming frustrated with the player.
Juventus were reportedly annoyed with Pogba's decision last year to delay surgery on his knee, with head coach Massimiliano Allegri admitting at the time that the midfielder went against the club's wishes.
Still, though, the Serie A giants will remain patient with the France international in a message delivered by Chief Football Officer Francesco Calvo.
"We are not planning to terminate Pogba's contract, I can deny these stories," he said, according to the Metro.
"He's an important player for us, the injuries are part of the game but Paul is training well and we wait for him."
