Two £100m-Rated Strikers Man Utd Are Considering Buying 'Revealed'

Two £100m-Rated Strikers Man Utd Are Considering Buying 'Revealed'

With Manchester United currently struggling for depth upfront, reports have claimed that Erik ten Hag has narrowed his list of targets for the off-season down to two £100 million-rated strikers.

PSG Under Investigation

The departure of Cristiano Ronaldo from the club has left the Red Devils light in the striker department and now their Dutch head coach is eager to reinforce his forward line during the upcoming transfer window, but is undecided on who to purchase.

According to The Telegraph, the 52-year-old will want United to pursue either Victor Osimhen or Harry Kane. The former Ajax Amsterdam boss is fans of both forwards for different reasons, but seems to be struggling to decide whether a short-term fix with Kane would prove to have a better return on investment than taking a long-term risk with Osimhen.

The same report suggests that Osimhen's pace, strength, pressing and goalscoring prowess would most likely be more suited to Ten Hag's style of play, but the manager is apprehensive about some of his other attributes, as well as his injury record.

In the case of the Englishman, the Netherlands-born coach is an admirer of his unique skillset in where he is able to provide balls in behind for his forward partners, a quality he has been proficient in when dovetailing with long-time strike partner Son Heung-Min.

Ten Hag will be hoping it is his ability to pick a pass that will help the likes of Marcus Rashford continue their progression.

Both players play for executives who are notoriously difficult negotiators in Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis and Spurs chairman Daniel Levy. Should either forward successfully make the move to Old Trafford, it will likely cost north of £100 million (R2.1 billion).
