Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has broken his silence on his move to Al Nassr FC, where he will reportedly earn a huge salary.

"I'm thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, the vision that Al Nassr has is very inspiring," Ronaldo said, as per CBS Sports.

"I'm very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success".

It has also been reported that Ronaldo will be earning €200million a year, which makes it the biggest salary in world football.

Al Nassr believe the arrival of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will take the club to even greater heights.

"History in the making. This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves," the club tweeted.
