Ronaldo's Sister Calls 2022 World Cup 'Worst' Ever

Ronaldo's Sister Calls 2022 World Cup 'Worst' Ever

One of Cristiano Ronaldo's sisters has publicly bashed the 2022 FIFA World Cup for being the "worst" in the competition's history after Lionel Messi and Argentina won the title.

Ronaldo Offered Swift Return To Premier League?

Known for often taking her thoughts to social media, Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro has this time taken aim at the Qatar World Cup after the tournament ended this past weekend.

Earlier in the competition, the ex-Real Madrid superstar's sibling slammed Portugal manager Fernando Santos for dropping her brother from the national team's starting XI in the round of 16 and quarter-final stage.

After Messi and the Albiceleste celebrated their historic World Cup triumph at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on Sunday, Aveiro took to social media once again to declare her feelings towards the 2022 edition, before heaping praise on Kylian Mbappe.

"The worst World Cup of all time that thankfully gave us a great final," she wrote on Instagram.

"What a match. Congratulations to Argentina.

Ronaldo To Represent Himself?

"Kylian Mbappe. This boy is unreal. What a bright future awaits you. Incredible."
