Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Isaac Mabota feels it would be wise for Amakhosi left back Happy Mashiane to go out on loan to get his career back on track.
Mashiane has only featured twice for the Soweto giants this season, in a DStv Premiership match against Cape Town City and in the MTN8 as a substitute against Stellenbosch FC. Last season the 24-year-old made just seven appearances throughout the campaign, a clear sign of how little football he has played at a competitive level.

The Siya crew has reported that there is a possibility that the Amakhosi product could go out on loan during the January transfer window, with the aim of getting him more minutes on the pitch.
Stellenbosch are believed to have previously shown an interest in the player, but it remains to be seen if they would raise their hand to bring the player on board when the window opens in a few days.
"I think it would be good for him to move. Age is still on his side and he needs game. He may still be young, but he must understand that the years are moving. The more he plays, the more he will mature as a player. If you look at a guy like Themba Zwane. He went out on loan and went back (to Mamelodi Sundowns)," Mabotsa tells the Siya crew.

"When they send you out on loan, it's not like you are a bad player. Maybe at the time you are not in the plans of the coach. So, it's best to go out there and get that experience and come back as a better player. He started his career well, but things are not going well for him at the moment. He can go out on loan and go improve his game because whoever is playing, means that he is doing better than him."
