UAE 0-5 Argentina

Argentina extended their unbeaten run to 36 matches with a 5-0 thrashing of UAE on Wednesday evening.

The South Americans went a full strength line-up, which included captain Lionel Messi, Angel Di Maria and Lisandro Martinez.

Manchester City's Julian Alvarez put the Argentines ahead of 17 minutes after being set up by Messi, before Di Maria bagged a 10-minute brace.

Messi got his name on the score-sheet with a neat finish just before the break, while Joaquin Correa rounded off the scoring on the hour mark.

Oman 0-1 Germany

Germany picked up a friendly win before their World Cup opener next week after edging past Oman 1-0 at the Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex.

Borussia Dortmund's 17-year-old Youssoufa Moukoko became the youngest player to make his debut for the German national side.

However, Oman was no push for the Germans, who had to wait until the 80th minute to find the back of the net courtesy of Niclas Füllkrug.

Poland 1-0 Chile

Poland registered a 1-0 win over Chile in their only warm up clash before the World Cup.

Robert Lewandowski was rested for the encounter, but fellow striker Krzysztof Piatek got the game's only goal in the 85th minute.

Poland open their World Cup campaign against Mexico.

Cote d'Ivoire 4-0 Burundi

Cote d'Ivoire proved too strong for Burundi after registering a 4-0 win at the Stade de Marrakech.

Jean-Philippe Krasso opened the scoring for the hosts on 10 minutes before Max Gradel doubled the lead on the stroke of halftime.

Ibrahim Sangare and Nicolas Pepe completed the rout for the Ivorians in the second half.

Suadi Arabia 0-1 Croatia

Croatia finished their preparations for the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia on Wednesday afternoon.

Andrej Kramaric got the winning goal for the European nation on 82 minutes, with Luka Modric getting the assist.

Saudi Arabia face South American champions Argentina in their World Cup opener, while the Croatians do batlle with Morocco.
