Let's take a closer look...

EA Sports predict Argentinian glory

EA Sports used FIFA 23 with groundbreaking HyperMotion2 Technology along with the FIFA World Cup ratings and the World Cup game modes to simulate all 64 matches to see who will come out on top come 18 December.

EA tipped Messi to lead the way for the South American champions in the quest for World Cup glory. The predicted a close 1-0 victory over Neymar's Brazil, with his PSG teammate Leo grabbing the winner.

The FIFA 23 publishers predicted that Messi will lift the World Cup trophy as the top goal scorer, with 8 goals, beating out Kylian Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo and Balon d'Or winner Karim Benzema.

Fans can also predict who they think will walk away with the World Cup crown and stand a chance to earn three Limited Time FIFA World Cup Player Items to add to their squad in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
