PSG & Real To 'Battle' For Brazilian Wonderkid

PSG & Real To 'Battle' For Brazilian Wonderkid

Endrick

Two of the wealthiest clubs in world football, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, are reportedly set to enter into a bidding war for a 16-year-old Brazilian wonderkid.

With Brazil famous for regularly producing world-class talent, teenage Palmeiras forward Endrick is tipped to be the next big thing to come out of the South American country.

The attacker is already making his mark at his club despite only recently turning 16, with teams across the world already vying to sign the player who has scored five goals in four matches for Brazil's U17 side.

According to Marca, French giants PSG are one of those clubs and have already submitted a €20 million (R362 million) bid for his services, although it is believed Palmeiras are looking for a bigger offer.

Los Blancos are also said to be interested in Endrick, who, on Tuesday night, became the youngest goalscorer in Palmeiras' history.

It is suggested by the Spanish publication that the 14-time UEFA Champions League winners would prefer to work in silence, like they did when they snapped up Vinicius Junior in 2018 and Rodrygo in 2019.

Endrick would only be able to make an official move to Europe when he turns 18 in July 2024, with it still unclear as to what his preferences are amid interest from almost every top club in Europe's top five leagues.

Barcelona are another side linked with the teenager, whose two goals against Athletico Paranaense on Tuesday helped Palmeiras claim a 3-1 victory in Brazil's Serie A.
