Ronaldo Unhappy With Sub As Man Utd Drop Points

Manchester United 0-0 Newcastle United

Manchester United registered their first draw of the Premier league season being held to a goalless stalemate by Newcastle United.

Ronaldo made his first league start of the season, while Jadon Sancho came in for Marcus Rashford on the left after his impressive cameo off the bench on Thursday.

After a scoreless, Erik Ten Hag decided withdraw Ronaldo for the final 20 minutes as Rashford was introduced as they went in search of a winning goal.

Rashford had a big chance to win in the final minute of time added on, but the forward somehow headed wide of the mark from six yards out out.

Leeds United 0-1 Arsenal

Arsenal cemented top spot in the Premier League with a 1-0 win away to Leeds United at Ellan Road on Sunday afternoon.

The game was temporarily suspended after just two minutes of play due to a power failure, which affected the referee's communications. 

Once the game did resume, the visitors got the breakthrough in the 35th minute when Bukayo Saka collected a pass from Martin Odegaard before firing past  Illan Meslier.

Leeds had a chance to equalise on 62 minutes after being awarded a penalty for handball on William Saliba, but Patrick Bamford his spot-kick wide of the mark.

There was late drama as Leeds were awarded a penalty for Gabriel's kick out at Bamford, which resulted in a card card. However, after a review on the Video Assistant Referee monitor, the referee reversed his decision, handing Arsenal the win.

Aston Villa 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea cemented fourth spot on the table after defeating Aston Villa 2-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues got off to a flying start when Mason Mount pounced on a loose ball in the box before firing past Emiliano Martinez.

Mount was at the double once just after the hour mark when his powerful free-kick left Martinez with no chance.

Southampton 1-1 West Ham United

Southampton and West Ham United could not be separated after playing to a 1-1 draw at St Mary's Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The Saints got off to the perfect start when Romain Perraud opened the scoring with a deflected effort from the edge of the box.

David Moyes' men got back on level terms in the 64th minute courtesy of a lovely finish from Declan Rice.
