Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has once again addressed the elephant in the room as Njabulo Blom's contractual standoff with the team continues.

Blom has been restored to the team and is back in his preferred midfield position.
However, his contractual situation with the club is yet to be resolved as they go back and forth to find common ground between Chiefs and their development product.
Blom will see his contract with Amakhosi come to an end in June 2023 and is fast approaching the last six months of his deal, having been promoted to the Chiefs first team as a 19-year-old from the club's reserves, signing a four-year deal in 2019.
Despite being heavily involved when the matter first surfaced, Zwane has since taken a step back and left the issue for the club's management to resolve, although he has expressed his delight in having the 22-year-old back in the team.
"Look, I'll leave that one the team to deal with it. I'm not that much worried. Obviously, we want to see him on the field, he's got the qualities. We know Njabulo since he was 14 years old when he came to Kaizer Chiefs, so unfortunately these (things) happen where they'll want people who can represent them. So, I'll leave that one for the club to deal with it," he told journalists after their one-all draw against AmaZulu in the MTN8 semi-final.

"As a coach, I'll always want to see Njabulo playing football and succeeding because he's very talented," he added.
