A Chelsea winger has revealed what ex-Blues manager Thomas Tuchel did that left him "dumbfounded and disappointed".

The USA international joined the London giants in 2019, but, after a promising start to life in England, started few matches after the appointment of Tuchel as the club's manager.
The 24-year-old has since opened up about the German tactician's decision to leave him out of the second leg of Chelsea's UEFA Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid after being assured of a place in the starting XI in the days leading up to the match.
In his upcoming autobiography, which will be released on 18 October, Pulisic explained that his former Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea boss left him confused.
"What happened before that game was hugely disappointing for me," he wrote in the autobiography, according to the Daily Mail.
"I'd had a really good first-leg performance and our following match was against Fulham in the league.
"Tuchel told me that he was resting me for the second leg and, as a result, I didn't play a single minute in the Fulham game.
"Then on matchday of the second semi, Tuchel tells me he's changed his mind and he's going with Kai [Havertz]. I honestly was dumbfounded and very disappointed.
"I thought that I'd earned a start and, most importantly, he had assured me previously I was going to start.
"So, by the time he brought me on with about 25 minutes left, I was just so wound up."

Last season, Pulisic contributed to 13 goals in 38 matches in all competitions, and has since played just six minutes under new boss Graham Potter.
