We are trying something different in Supporters Club, we are selecting the Get Published writer of the week and asking him three important questions about South African football to get their opinion. This week we chat to Jonnybee50, the big question is: What's the difference between foreign and local coaches?
"the only difference between local and foreign coaches is; Local coaches seem to be not respected by either management, players or even fans, hence its difficult for our South African clubs to retain the reality of our own football culture.
Foreign coaches come and get our own utmost respect, while they change the culture of our football, which is not bad at all but sometimes you need to understand that straight football is not entertaining, even though that seem to be also playing a major role in Bafana Bafana's downfall, if I can take you back when Clive Barker won the African Cup of Nations, you'll agree with me that most of our local clubs where coached by local coaches."
What do you think of this?
