Brazil Announce Squad For Final 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Snub 8 Stars

Brazil line-up

Brazil, who have already qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, have now announced their squad for their final two qualification games, snubbing eight of the country's biggest stars.

Click through the gallery above to see which Brazil stars were snubbed for their national team's latest squad.

The Selecao have lost only one game since coach Tite took over from Carlos Dunga after the 2016 Copa America, and were the first nation to qualify for the showpiece in Russia.

The five-time World Cup winners lead the South America World Cup qualification table and are ahead of second-placed Uruguay by 10 points, and will face ninth-placed Bolivia and sixth-placed Chile in the upcoming international break.

Tite has rung the changes in his squad, leaving the likes of Taison, Rodrigo Caio, Fagner, Giuliano and Luan out of his selection in comparison to his team's previous two games.

Manchester City defender Danilo, Brazil-based duo Arthur and Diego, Fred and Diego Tardelli were new inclusions, while David Luiz, among others, was once again not called up.

Here is Brazil's squad in full, according to ESPN:

Goalkeepers: Alisson (Roma), Cassio (Corinthians), Ederson (Manchester City)

Defenders: Danilo (Manchester City), Miranda (Inter Milan), Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Daniel Alves (Paris Saint-Germain), Jemerson (Monaco), Filipe Luis (Atletico Madrid), Marcelo (Real Madrid)

Midfielders: Casemiro (Real Madrid), Fernandinho (Manchester City), Paulinho (Barcelona), Renato Augusto (Beijing Guoan), Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool), Willian (Chelsea), Arthur (Gremio), Diego (Flamengo), Fred (Shakhtar Donetsk)

Forwards: Diego Tardelli (Shandong Luneng), Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City), Neymar (PSG), Roberto Firmino (Liverpool)
