Siphelele Ntshangase Opens Up On His Worrying Situation at Gallants

Siphelele Ntshangase Opens Up On His Worrying Situation at Gallants

With just three appearances to his name this season, former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has opened up on his worrying situation at Marumo Gallants.

The move to Polokwane at the start of the season was supposed to spark a change in fortunes for the man nicknamed Stash after his struggles at Chiefs; however, things haven't quite panned out the way the 28-year-old would have wanted to.

Instead, he has featured just thrice for Gallants this campaign, twice under former coach Sebastien Migné and once under coach Dan Malesela in December last year.

Now, the former fan favourite has addressed his lack of game time, revealing that he is aware of what needs to be done to get back into the reckoning at the club.

"I think I am adjusting and the team is still right. For me it's a privilege to be playing again after not playing for so long. It's not that easy (not getting game time) but I am pushing at training," he told journalists at the club's media day.

"The competition in the team is tough but I know what I have to do I think (getting frustrated) does happen to every player if he is not playing and he needs game time – but I know what I have to do, work hard and if the opportunity comes, make use of it"

When asked if he sees himself at the club beyond the current season, Ntshangase had a very blunt response.

"Ja, as far as I know," he added.
