Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has responded to Mauricio Pochettino claiming Kylian Mbappe will stay at Paris Saint-Germain next season.
Mbappe's contract with the newly crowned Ligue 1 champions expires at the end of the current season and he has been heavily linked with Los Blancos.
Pochettino on Thursday claimed that the 2018 World Cup would be staying in the French capital, saying, "100 per cent in both cases. That is how I feel today."
However, Ancelotti responded a day later and claimed that coaches can lie when asked about Pochettino's remarks.
"The coaches at the press conference can't tell the whole truth," the Los Blancos coach said, as per the Mirror.
"This is normal. Madrid fans are thinking of two things, winning tomorrow and winning on Wednesday. That's what we are thinking about."
