Kaizer Chiefs' Kabelo Mahlasela could be joined by a few other new signings at Polokwane City, with the Limpopo outfit seemingly keen on bolstering the squad for the remainder of the season.
Last Thursday it was confirmed that Mahlasela secured a move to Polokwane on loan from Chiefs for the remainder of the season.
The midfielder has since made his debut for the club during the Limpopo derby match against Baroka at the weekend.
With Rise and Shine bottom of the Absa Premiership log, and having conceded a whopping 25 goals from 18 matches, the team's head coach Clinton Larsen seems to have prioritised defensive options in his search for more players in this transfer window.
The Siya crew has learnt that former Chippa United defender Bongani Kama has started training with Polokwane and hoping to impress Larsen, and is joined at the club by Sicelo Hlatshwayo who recently parted ways with Jomo Cosmos.
