Former Moroka Swallows coach, Zeca Marques will not be banking on his history and knowledge of the Soweto club when he leads his current side, Black Leopards in their PSL promotion play-off first leg encounter on Wednesday 20 May 2015.
Marques proud of Leopards display
Marques parted ways with the beleaguered Dube Birds last year in October, following a spate of poor league results and since then has gone on to lead Lidoda Duvha to a third place finish on the NFD table and qualification to the play-offs.
"Preparations are going well for us. Last season the team was in a similar spot, so everyone knows the bitter taste of missing out on promotion," Marques tells the Siya crew.
"With regards of coming against my former team, it will be 50/50 that much I can tell you, the knowledge I have on them makes a small difference. The key for us is to prepare to our strengths."
"Everyone has worked hard and I can tell you the spirit among the players is intense," concluded the Portuguese-born mentor.
Birds focus on PSL survival not Player awards
