These Could Be The First Absa Premiership Fixtures This Season

There could be a Tshwane Derby in the opening week of the 2017/18 Absa Premiership season, with Bidvest Wits hosting Cape Town City and Kaizer Chiefs travelling to Bloemfontein. Read: Wits Assess Shongwe Options Amid Pirates Rumours While the official fixtures for the new campaign have not been released yet, the provisional list has been sent out to clubs around the country as the PSL looks to finalise the games for the coming year. As things currently stand, the first league game of 2017/18 will see the reigning champions, Wits, take on City on August 18th, with the other games being played out on the 19th and 20th. SuperSport could be set to host Sundowns and AmaZulu's first game back looks set to be against Free State Stars after they bought a return to the top-flight from Thanda Royal Zulu. Meanwhile, Chiefs are currently set to travel to Bloemfontein Celtic and Pirates will host Chippa United in Johannesburg.
