The South African Football Association have hit back at a former Chief Executive member following a report on SAFA President, Danny Jordaan.
According to reports in local media, Former SAFA Chief Executive Dennis Mumble issued a dossier to SAFA's NEC, where he made several astonishing claims, while also suggesting that President Danny Jordaan should resign from his post.
The association have since hit back with a press release stating that nine Provincial Chairpersons have reaffirmed their backing of Jordaan's leadership.
"He is sponsored to besmirch the name of the Association but we have seen through him and his handlers will be disappointed. North West believes in the leadership of Dr Jordaan and to those injuring his good name, this is another futile exercise," the statement read in part.
