The Premier Soccer League announces recipients for an Absa Premiership award each month and while football is currently suspended, Soccer Laduma takes a look at the three coaches who have the scooped accolades so far in the 2019/20 season.
Football all over the world is currently on lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak and as things stand, there is no telling when exactly – domestic football in Mzansi will return to action.

However, in the meantime, Soccer Laduma takes a look at some proud moments that have happened in the Absa Premiership so far, particularly for the coaches who have taken their teams on impressive runs this season.
August – November 2019:
Ernst Middendorp scooped the Absa Premiership Coach of the Month award three times in a row this season (August, September – October and November) after taking Kaizer Chiefs on an impressive run to the top of the league standings.
Amakhosi are still at the top of the log as things stand, with a four point advantage over second placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
December 2019:
Head Coach Pitso Mosimane thereafter scooped the award for the month of December after a tough schedule for the Brazilians in all competitions both domestically and on the continent. Sundowns remain at second placed on the log, although they do have a game in hand.
January 2020:
Orlando Pirates head coach, Josef Zinnbauer deservedly won the January Coach of the Month award after taking the Bucs on a five-game unbeaten run where they've won four and drew just one. Pirates had an impressive turnaround to their season following Zinnbauer's appointment, where they went from the bottom half of the table to challenging for the league title.
