Following a professional career that started at Bloemfontein Celtic and went on to finish at the club later on, following a successful stint with Ria Stars and a big move to Orlando Pirates over the years, Thapelo Liau was regarded as one of the skilful players to have ever come out of Mzansi.
Although some still believe that his true potential was never realised, Liau is still remembered by many fans in Mzansi for his amazing dribbling skills, passing accuracy and an eye for goal.
The former midfielder was part of the Pirates side that won the PSL title in the 2002/03 season.
In reminiscing about the good old days, Liau picked his PSL team of all time from all the players he played with and against during his professional career.
