Orlando Pirates winger Thabo Qalinge remains optimistic as he continues to recover from his injury.

The Bucs skilful winger continues to recover from a groin strain which has kept him out of action since last year. Speaking to Soccer Laduma the 26-year-old said he was happy with the progress he was making under the supervision of the Bucs medical staff.
"I'm making good progress with regards to my injury. The strength conditioning is going well and hopefully, I will be back in action for the team," said Qalinge.
"This time I want to be careful in terms of my return. When I return back to the team it has (to) be when I'm fully fit."

Qalinge further went on to congratulate his teammates on overcoming Ajax Cape Town and booking a spot in the in the Nedbank Cup last 16.
"The team has done extremely well. Players like Luvuyo Memela have come up very well and have scored vital goals. It always makes it easier to come back when the team is doing well," added the Bucs attacker.
The Soweto giants have not yet indicated when the Qalinge will make a full recovery and return to the team. Meanwhile, the likes of Mpho Makola, Marc Van Heerden and Gladwin Shitolo are also on the road to recovery.
