Gabon will lock horns with Libya in a 2014 CHAN quarter-final clash at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday.
Gabon booked their place in the last eight by winning Group B, finishing with seven points from their three games following wins over Mauritania and the Democratic Republic of Congo, following a 0-0 stalemate with Burundi in their opening fixture.
Libya finished second in Group C, behind Ghana and just ahead of Congo to ensure their passage into the next round, thanks to a 2-0 win over Ethiopia followed up by a 1-1 stalemate with Ghana and a thrilling 2-2 draw with Congo.
With both teams unbeaten so far in the tournament the winner of this quarter-final will book a place against Zimbabwe in Wednesday's semi-final.
