Kaizer Chiefs' Mozambican trialist, Sonito, is still training with the club's reserves, despite the first team returning to training today.
The Amakhosi trained today following their win over Free State Stars this weekend, although Apson David Manjate was nowhere to be seen in their training session, with the 28-year-old still being assessed in their reserve squad.
Sonito did turn out for Chiefs' reserves in the recent friendly loss to Amajita last week, although Stuart Baxter is yet to run the rule over the Mozambique international.
At 28, and having already been turned down by Wits, it remains to be seen if Baxter will deem Sonito good enough to be offered a contract at the club, however he is expected to undergo training with the first team in the near future.
The forward finished last season as Liga Muculmana's top scorer in the MocamBola, and has previously been linked with Congolese giants, TP Mazembe.
