The murder trial of the men accused of the killing of former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa, has been postponed.
The five accused appeared in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria this morning as the case resumed.
The accused are Muzikawukhulelwa Sibiya, Bongani Sandiso Ntanzi, Mthobisi Prince Mncube, Mthokoziseni Maphisa and Sifikuhle Nkani Ntuli.
As confirmed by the authorities, the five men have been charged with murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, possession of firearms without a licence, among other charges.
Following their brief appearance in court, the trial has been adjourned until tomorrow, this after a request by Sibiya's legal representative to consult with the client.
The trial has been postponed to Tuesday.
