Sandile Zungu warns opposing teams as AmaZulu change venue

AmaZulu FC president Sandile Zungu has sent a strong warning to teams visiting Durban as they move back to Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Usuthu have signed a three-year deal with eThekwini municipality to use Moses Mabhida Stadium as their new home venue for this season.

Zungu revealed that he was shocked that previous club owners decided to move to Kings Park Rugby Stadium.

"This stadium was built for football games and I was shocked that previous owners were not using this venue but I presume they had valid reasons, I now took upon myself to make sure AmaZulu returns at Moses Mabhida Stadium," Zungu told the media.

"I couldn't understand this venue that is for football wasn't getting any games, now we have to change that and use this venue."

Zungu say Usuthu won't make it easy for any opponents coming to the stadium this campaign.

"We won't be playing for free, we will be paying using Moses Mabhida Stadium and for that we will make sure that any team visiting here won't win against us. We will make this ground a green forest that will destroy any PSL team."
