After Mamelodi Sundowns' struggles to get past the semi-finals of the CAF Champions, Rulani Mokwena has suggested that the missing ingredient can be found at Wydad Casablanca.
Sundowns have been one of the best teams on the continent for a number of years, especially during Mokwena era, both as a co-coach and assistant coach.
However, Masandawana have been finding it difficult to get past the semi-finals, even though pound for pound and even as a team, appeared to have better squads.

The 38-year-old coach also paid the price of not getting the Tshwane giants over the semi-finals, after they were knocked out by Esperance last season.
In an interview with CAF TV, Mokwena has revealed that what actually makes the difference in those stages is the support base, something that Wydad is revered for on the continent.
"We can elevate each other, it's a great platform for us. I came close to winning the (CAF) Champions League twice with Mamelodi Sundowns. With this club I think we can even do more," Mokwena said.

"The greatest advantage, which is one of the most important things you need for Champions League is the usage and influence of the supporters and I think we've got such an incredible fan base, unbelievable and you need that.
"You go to Al Ahly in Cairo it's very difficult there, what makes it even more difficult is the supporters. You go to Petro in Angola the supporters make it extremely hostile. You go to Lubumbashi, Mazembe, the supporters make it extremely hostile, Esperance in Tunisia and Wydad probably have the best supporters, that's why they've won the award twice now for the best supporters in the world, extremely passionate. This advantage is one of the most important advantages you can have," the former Orlando Pirates coach concluded.
Sundowns also continued to experience the advantage of a hostile home crowd and how very important it is, after they were subdued by the vociferous Raja Casablanca capacity crowd, which spurred The Green Eagles to a spirited win over Masandawana in a Group C clash last Saturday.
