For those who might be wondering where Rodney Thobejane is these days, the former defender is still coaching at Ditlou FC in the ABC Motsepe League.
The former Kaizer Chiefs centre-back is on course to making a name for himself as an aspiring coach like many ex-players who played in South Africa's top tier during their heyday.
Nicknamed Danger during his playing days for his tough-tackling style of defending, Thobejane is keen on helping talented young players from Limpopo, where he comes from, to follow in his footsteps to the elite league of Mzansi's football.
"I'm still involved in the game as I am currently coaching one of the ABC Motsepe League teams here in Skukuza. The name of the team is Ditlou FC and we are trying. We are getting there. There are some exciting youngsters (who could follow in my footsteps) in the team," said Thobejane
With Ditlou having finished closer to relegation zone last season, Thobejane is working on improving the team's fortunes this season, with the side having enjoyed a comfortable position around the top eight for the better part of the current campaign.
Orlando Pirates' Absa Premiership campaign for the 2018/19 season left with only three matches, and with the team still with a chance of winning the title, the club is in search of the team's top performer to date.
