The former Matsatsantsa skipper recently left South Africa's shores to go on an FA International Coaching Course at the St. Georges facility in the UK having written into his current coaching contract that he wanted to learn from the best in Europe.
Now, having already started the course, Katza says that it's been a great experience for him so far.
Speaking to the Siya crew, the former defender said, "There's been lots of information for me to take in on the course, but it's been good... The FA's facility is unbelievable.
"Yesterday we had our first assessments. We had to take a 20 minute coaching session on our own while being video filmed with mic on. They then gave each one of us a DVD of the session to and asked us to assess ourselves... It's awesome stuff to see how you coach and to really see yourself. In the evening we went to watch Nottingham Forest v Fulham. Again, it was unbelievable to see how the English support their local teams...
"I was frustrated watching the game because not once did they try to build up through their different units, they just kicked it long, but then after the game I realised how effective it was because eight goals were scored. That's something that I can take with me as a coach on how to play sometimes, it's been a good learning and knowledge gain for me so far."

Katza will return from the course at the end of this month after two weeks in England, something that will no doubt help his development as a coach in South Africa.
