Request Made To Prevent Bloemfontein Celtic From Entering New Season

A letter has been written to the South African Football Association to request that Bloemfontein Celtic be prevented from entering the 2021/22 season, the Siya crew can reveal. 

The lawyers who are representing former Celtic goalkeeper Patrick Tignyemb are unhappy that the club has still not paid the Cameroonian for unlawfully terminating his contract in 2019. 

Celtic were ordered to pay Tignyemb R3 million and the club has since been hit with a transfer ban by FIFA, preventing Siwelele from signing and registering new players.  

Tignyemb's legal representatives have written to SAFA to request that Celtic be prevented from entering the new season until they pay the 36-year-old goalkeeper.
