Platinum Stars are aiming to keep midfielder, Bongani Nyathi, at the club next season, with him set to be offered a new deal in Phokeng.
The 25-year-old will see his current deal expire at the end of this month, and given the fact that he only played in one league game for Dikwena this season, there has been speculation as to whether he would be moving on.
However, the Siya crew has since been informed that the club are looking to tie him down on a new deal, and that they're hoping he'll still be with them for their 2014/15 campaign.
Dikwena's head coach, Allan Freese, confirmed this to the crew, saying, "Bongani is one of the player's that we've discussed for next season and we want him to stay. He's going to be offered an extension."
Nyathi came on for the last few minutes of Stars' 1-0 win over University of Pretoria back in September, though didn't make the match day squad for any of their league games that followed.
