Platinum Stars have confirmed the signing of Senegalese goalkeeper, Bouna Coundoul.
Condoul had been linked with a move to Orlando Pirates, however, it was reported earlier that the Parktown-based club were not interested in his services.
The 32-year-old has now signed for Stars and says he was surprised at how good the facilities were at the club.
"It is a privilege for me to have signed with Platinum Stars FC, and looking around I see professionalism," Coundoul told the club's twitter account.
"The team is run with professionalism, the staff members were welcoming and the environment is so friendly."
"I was shocked to see the facilities, and was so chuffed. This is like Europe, I tell you.The quality of the facilities is out of this world."
Meanwhile, Dikwena head coach, Allan Freese, believes he can add value to the squad.
"We are delighted to have signed Coundoul and we are currently working on the work permit for him.We can't wait to see him add value," Freese added.
