The midfielder has grown in leaps and bounds during his time of development at the Chloorkop outfit.

Having been brought to the Sundowns youth set-up by his mentor Mabhuti Khenyeza in 2010, the 20-year-old made huge progress in a short period of time, before his promotion to the first team this season.

The player has impressed Mosimane at training, with the Sundowns coach considering giving him a run in his team.

The Pinetown-born player was included in Downs' 18-man match day squad for the first time this season, against Free State Stars last weekend.

Just like Samuel Julies, who played his first official game for Sundowns against Stars, Shozi might have been handed his maiden appearance last weekend, according to Mosimane.

However, the technical team was forced into making tactical changes because of injuries to some of the experienced players.
