Tau was spectacular on the day with an assist and a goal which earned him the 'Man of the Match' accolade.
The win extends the Brazilians' unbeaten run to seven games and Tau admits his team are dealing well with the demands of the game.
"I think we did very well. We controlled the game," Tau told SuperSport after the game.
"It was a difficult game from the one we played against Martizburg (in midweek which we won 1-0), but I know we did well with the demands of the game.
"It is always difficult to play so many games in such a short time, but I am very proud of the guys.
"I always try and contribute to the team. It is not always the group performance, but it is about what you contribute to the team.
"Sometimes it is defending, sometimes it is attacking or assisting. I'm always happy to see myself getting better and the guys are also scoring."
